Acid dipping a frame(stock metric)how much weight does one loose after it eats all the stuff from the frame rails and clips in and out??How much to get this done were your from?

It depends on the amount of corrosion on the frame both internal and external. if the frame is from an area that uses salt for ice & snow control in the winter it will lose more than a frame that is in the south. I am from Imperial Pennsylvania an area that uses salt and the frames are known to rust through. If you acid dip your frame, mic it in ramdom spots to see how much metel you lost.

Blast it. The last thing you want to do is acid dip to lighten (weaken) a metric frame. They are already weak enough.
