I dont understand why IMCA wont let us use the hydro throwout bearing? Ive been using one for 3 years and they havent said anything yet. I think a push type cylinder mounted off the block would work?

i dont know eaither I dont see any kind of advantage to them . It's not like your going to gain 10extra hps.Is there a place to bolt it to the block ?

the best way i have found is to get a pull type. drill a hole in fork double not the slave cylinder, then make a brkt off of your trans cross member..just try to keep straight as possible, and far away from header as possible..

i didnt see to much place on the block to bolt it too.saw just one place to bolt a bracket too but i would think you would need two bolts to stay in place . the chain idea not to sure how that would work .

I have a push type slave cylinder that mounts to most scattersheild I would sell. It has the clutch line and mounting bracket.

If your scattersheild doesnt have the mounting plate on the drivers side you can weld one in very easily.

I will sell the slave cylinder braided line and bracket for $45 + shipping.

Installing the hydro bearing is simple. just take one bolt out of the front of the tranny and replace it with the supplied stud. then you just have to shim it for proper clearance. Its all very simple.

a pull type works ok.

drill a hole in the end of fork

bolt slave to it

bolt other to floor pan

All we did was weld a bracket to the bellhousing in front of the clutch fork for a push type cylinder works great.
