I say that sounds like a stock type to me. What are concerned about anyways....brakes only slow you down not make you go faster. When i ran dirt (13 years before i went to asphalt 3 years ago) I never ever used my brakes. Whats so illegal about that, its still stock type and its a SAFETY equipment part. I'd say yes DQ him if he had no brake on right front or a adjuster (if your rules are set up against this) but not something like this....if its stock type and it works and most of all if its THERE leave the man alone. JMHO.

this sounds like tech inspector had to reach for something, did your buddy get him overruled before? good brakes are important safety issue but when is safety important? after someone get's hurt!

I think our rules say you can run the small GM calipers but not the large ones.......this may or may not be what he got him on....

If you can't work em in close & git em in your face with their orange landing gear down, don't bother taking the safety off......

It would seem like a track would want the very best brakes the car owner can afford.
