i have a 89 firebird forumal , the front breaks are lockin up on it , it has new rotors ,break pads ,mastercylinders,and all but the front breaks are lockin up on it wut could be causeing this , the break pedal is spongy feelin , any help would be nice

make sure its bled good and you might want to replace the hoses . does it have anti-locks????????????

yea it has antilock brakes and i needa find out wuts makin it lock up lol

Sounds to me like you are air bound. did you bench bleed the master cylinder? And bleed the brakes, starting at rr, then lr then rf then lf

My brother's '91 Camero had the same deal. He swapped out the rubber line between the caliper and the steel line and it was all good. Something about the rubber breaking down in the line.

I know I never run the stock rubber lines on the old race car.

I had a 85 IROC Z28. The front locked up. I replaced the rubber lines between the calipers and the frame. Problem solved. remove the line at the caliper, have someone press the break peddle. see if any fluid comes out of the line. Then replace the line, when it doesnt.
