I run a metric four link, 3200+ lbs with 48% rear. Could add weight to make 50% rear if that is the only way. What angle should the rear upper and lower control arms be for the best bite. Thanks

First impression, your rear percent looks way low. BUT need more info than what you have given. Where you run at, track size, banking, wet/tacky or dry slick, do you like a tight or loose car, ride heights, spring rates, ect,. ect,. ect, all play a part in the set up.

Either way, I would get that rear percent UP. I run around 52+% rear. 3400 lb car (me in), mostly run on a dry slick 4/10 high banked slip and slid track.

Good luck and Race on.

At our track metric cars are only allowed to be max 47% rear and leaf cars are only allowed 45%.We could get way over but they wont let us.

I run a centeral Missouri Track, between 12 to 15 degree banking, most of time track is between tacky and dry slick, 900lf, 1050rf, 225lr, and 200rr. I perfer a car that is a little loose. Track is a short 3/8, more like a 1/4. 650 rear gear. Car runs best on the very bottom. move up close to middle, car real loose Bistine Street Stock shocks on rear, one Bilstine Street Stock on rf and a Carrera 50/50 lf. Ride height, lf 7, lr 71/2, rr 8, and rf between 8 to 8 1/2 depending on the front stagger (me in car). Tires are 10 inch asphalt pull offs. No extra metel anywhere, fire wall set back 6 inches, engine set back 4 inches, and cage is set back 10 inches from the CSC instalation directions.

Im not trying to rag, just curious. My car is built by IMCA streetstock rules and carries 51% at 3150. #1 plug 4 inches head, stock firewall location, rear hoop 41 inches from top windshield opening. Do you have a real heavy front bumper or something? With everything setback like you said you should be at more than 48% rear.
