Try adding some Hyper-Lube additive to the coolant or water whatever you are using, I used a nylon fan which worked really well cept when the rocks got it, am going to have to find one a little better, I also used the gutted thermostat but have got water restrictors to see how they are going to work. I run a 4 row radiator, full shroud and a 6 blade steel fan. Fan is tucked in a 1/2 inch into the shroud, and there is no more than a hand width all around the blade. Also, run a gutted stat, and between the nose piece and the radiator, we took some plastic you can buy from performance bodies, and made a air box, that scoops air into the radiator. 2 night ago it was 9o, and the temp never went above 195. Also, like was mentioned earlier, ck your timing i run 38 degrees.
