Hey guys, our track runs by IMCA Hobby Stock rules. Next year, they are supposed to get sanctioned. I am trying to get a car together before the season is over. I am needing to know what kind of stuff I can do body wise. As long as it goes in IMCA it is good for these guys. How much can I gut one?? Wheel wells, Hood, Trunk, Doors?? What kind of cam is allowed?? I see that there is nothing about cam lift in the rules. The track is a high banked 1/2 mile, and I have a motor capable of turning 6500-7000 RPMS. What kind of cam should I go with?? I have a .480 lift now, but if it is not gonna be legal I need to change it. If you can give me any advise about IMCA Hobby Stocks, please give it. There are NO tracks around here that run them, and most of the cars in the class now are Bomber cars (no Hobby Stocks). Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help Racer17, that is what I wanted to know. Branden, I do not currently race at DSS, but I will soon. I have a Street Stock that I ran at Flomaton a couple times (red camaro #59), but due to cost of fuel and tires, I am moving back down. I also have a new baby on the way so I cannot spend on a car what I used to. You might know me as Y2Jeremy59 on other forums.
