Which gear does it jump out of? If it is jumping out of 3rd, it is possible that your input shaft is bad and\or you have a misalignment issue with your bellhousing or no\bad pilot bearing. does it jump out on acceleration or deceleration?

syncro's are prob. shot,i know this sounds butchy, but you could hook a bungee cord to it to hold it in gear.just to you get a chance to take the tranny out.

check your drive line.
check the ammount the yoke has sticking out of the tranny, make sure its enough to handle the movement in and out. Are the bell housing bolts tight, are the tranny bolts tight. Is the drive shaft bent.

Do you feel like its vibrating?

I'll take a guess and say the yoke is bottoming out against the tail and kicks it out of gear.

I had this same exact problem last year and used a bungee cord until a grenaded a three speed two weeks in a row. found out that the bellhousing was bent causing the problem. changed the bellhousing, hasn't jumped out of gear since.
