Hello fellow racers. We are in the process of changing over from the stock camaro type leaf springs to Afco 'chrysler' type leafs. We have gutted the rocker panels and made frame rails and a section to put a front mount with multiple holes for the front of the leafs. My question is, what is the best way to mount the fronts? (how should we locate these multi hole brackets) I have read were the fronts should be mounted closer to each other then the rears for better stability, but also were some say the leafs should stay straight to each other and the chassis to work properly? We will be mounting the rears in slider boxes. I dont really want an exotic setup that is waay tight, just something that works good and is drivable on a mostly tacky stop n go 1/4 mile track. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
