I think I am getting vapor lock, I have my fuel line running on the bay bar on the right side. On restarts the car cuts out for a little bit then its fine. I had this problem a few times after sitting in lineup. I took my temp gun the line was 140 degrees. Any one know of a wrap I can put over the line, I really don't wanna reroute it, unless I have to. Its good 1/2" fuel line thats 4 yrs old
Thanks

I used this stuff on a boat one time. Didn't completely cure the problem but it helped. Turned out there were more problems though...

My buddies just put some header wrap on his mainifolds and has some left over. He gave it to me and i wrapped my fuel line with it. Hope it works. Will find out this weekend being our first race is this saturday.

We use heat tape we buy at AutoZone. The shiney stuff with adhesive on one side. We take plastic ties over the ends so it doesn't come unwrapped from the fuel line.

get some pipe insulation from the hardware store on it and wrap it with black tape if you melt it you know you have issues on the way it is routed.

Have u ever thought about putting a line cooler on ? I have a small cooler with my fuel line coiled about 8 time down inside the cooler and I fill the cooler up with ice before I go out onto the track. This keep the fuel cooler and you know what you get from cooler fuel. I have 1/2 fuel lines and I have checked the temp on them going into the fuel pump and with the cooler full of ice, the temp avg. about 18 degrees less than it does with no ice. This maybe something you want to try, I'm not sure if it's in my head or not but i swear I can feel the power increased as well with the ice......
