we did it, works awesome!!!
once you get it right its hard to beat. our track slicks up quick and we are the only car on coils all the others are on leafs and we run in the top 5 weekly. if i could get a little more forward bite it will be unstoppable.

I want to see a pic of that, how you did it and of the car completed. I run a metric (81 cutlass) and i have a subframe sitting off of a 80 trans am (same thing as camaro). My email is DangerZoneRacing@yahoo.com. thanks.

We were thinking of trying that too. More info PLEASE. Seems like the front would be a lot lighter with those bent frame rails gone.

if you wanted coil rears on a camaro wouldn't it be more advantagous to build a 3rd gen camaro with a 2nd gen front stub? You can keep the torque arm from the third gen that way.

Just thoughts.

The coil springs are better than the leafs and you get the better geometry with the Camaro ffront clip. Eddie

unless you know your stuff its just expensive hocus pocus. Learn to drive your equipment to its limits. Usually the most sophisticated adjuster you have on the car is the nut behind the steering wheel but it often seems its the one we use the least.

Napa115, could you part with the way you did it. If not, anyone know where I could get in touch with Joe Taylor. Thanks, Mansfield
