Hey there i know we dont go that fast but was thinking more in the front of car with arrow danamics. Our top speed is around 74mph on a 5/16 15% bank track. We have a pretty flat frontend and you know how much say the wind can effect your car or van on the highway when traveling. Do you think that there is a little to be gained by having more of a slanted front so the air would pass by easier. Ill take a pic of frontend today and post it after we get done racing tomorrow cause today is RACEDAY lol

i'd like to know that too, i'm running a fwd 88 cutlass supreme body with both rear windows filled in and the interior sheet metal which is a full tub running up hill in the rear behind me at a pretty decent angle to try to get a lilttle bit of spoiler effect inside the car. the hood is at a factory angle on the front sloped enuff that when i lost a front hood pin last week the hood did not even try to lift, when i ran the olde rstyle body mid 80s metric i broke a hood pin mount a couple of times and the hood always lifted so i'm guessing there is more force on the hood now than b4. what kinda effect does the rear have i know at our speeds on a dirt track the effect maybe little but any bit of rear down force should help.

Nextel Cup @ Bristol I have seen them pull cars in under green conditions to repair rear spoilers. Granted they are going faster, but it told me that aerodynamics play a BIG part in handling.

keep in mind el that they have to be at a certin angle to pass tech even if damaged also the downforce used on a cup car is part of the setup. on say a late model or mod on dirt aero plays a small part but it wouldn't rack my brain try'n to get my stocker slippery as possible on a 1/4 mile dirt track. heck on mine i don't run any type of noe at all helps her run cooler
