We have had some problems in every race this year with the Quartermaster single disc clutch not grabbing ahold. We use a mechanical arm with a pull slave and a return spring on the arm like we always have before with a 10 1/2 clutch. A lot oif times all you have to do is stomp the clutch a few times and will grab ahold but grabs ahold better not being a high RPM. I believe the notches/lines signifying gear ratio of gears on a saginaw transmission are letting the disc assemblies hang up and let the pack get together. Once connected it is a go. Am I on the right track?

I use the same clutch as you. I use a hydrolic throwout bearing and have not had any problems with it for last 4 years.

I never had any luck with useing a fork on the 7.25 clutch.

We had a bind where the pull slave cyl connects the end of the clutch arm. That is where there is a swivel ball and a jam nut. We were out of line too much. Repositioned the base end of slave cyl for good parallel alignmnet.
