what should i see when i look down my carb when i rev it up and leave it at say 4000 rpm? should i see fuel in a fog type spray or will the fuel be dripping? the fuel in my carb when i rev it kinda drips, i have a slight miss at higher rpms, its not really a miss it just doesnt sound perfect, the motor starts fine and it raps up fast with no hesitation but there is that lil ****py sound while its revving,

Did the problem just start? Does it do it under load, or acceleration?

Also have you cleaned it out lately? If not I would buy a rebuild kit and dip it in carb dip. If you dont have any then the spray can stuff should work.

It started doin it the last 2 races of 2004. I recently rebuilt carb myself. I did dip it in the carb cleaner and blowed out all the passages. Like i said it starts good revs up good but it just isnt smooth say when you rev it up to 3 or 4 grand and leave it there for a second or 2, it will smooth out a lil but it just doesnt sound right, ive got 75 jets in it now, have tried goin up and down on the jets with no change, i should have taken it to a carb guy instead of doin it myself, i guess ill just beat it with a hammer and go buy me a new one!!

What do you have for fuel pressure? You should have a pretty stable 6-7lbs...
