When the exhaust valve starts to open adjust the intake valve. Then the intake starts to close adjust the exhaust valve. (hydralic cam only) I'm not sure about roller rockers weither or not if they need any lash set in them but it they are standard rocker arms adjust them down until you get just a slight drag on the push rod as you are turning it with your finger.

The best way I have found to set my valve lash is to install a remote start button on the firewall. Then I put my hand on the intake rocker. When the intake rocker goes down, and first starts to come back up, I set the exhaust. Once the exhaust is set, I put my hand on the exhaust valve and start to wiggle it....I bump the motor over until it tightens up (first starts to go down), then I set the intake. Good Luck, and Good Racing.

go to the tool box it gives you the order to adjust the rockers so that you only have to turn the motor once. take out all the lash then another 1/2 to 3/4 turn

Thats the way to do it. It takes longer to warm the engine up than it takes to pull the valve covers and adjust the rockers by using that trick in the tool box.
