We are having a father and son argument on what springs go on the left and right on the rear of a metric frame in a car having to weigh 3100#. I say the heavier spring goes on the left and the lighter one goes on the right. Had the rear end out this last winter and---------which spring came out of which bucket? I say {father} 200 on the left and 175 on the right. Can anyone settle this? Percentages are 51 on the left and 52 plus on the rear.

well if you want to get technical it's all up to the driver and how the car feals most will run the heavier on the left but if you like the car a little on the loose side you may run the heavier on the right.little tip after you get it figured out which one works better for you paint the one that goes on the right red or put a zip tie on it then you will never run into this again
