I just purchased one of these over the winter and we have not started running yet. My question to anyone who has one of these is, normally I could run around under caution with a stock saginaw in 2nd gear. without the second gear now, what exactly can I expect on a slow restart with one of these, say Im nose to tail about 7 cars back. Does it have good pcik up power or are you finding yourself constantly pushing the clutch in and reving it up. Thats my only concern. Anyone who runs one of these may know exactly what im thinking, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had the same concerns. But so far it hasn't been to big of a problem. the thing actually slows down alot more than I thought it would without lugging the motor. As far as pick up power I noticed more of an difference with the small motor than the big one. It seems to help out the most with less power. So far I am happy with it. The only thing I have trouble with is getting it out of high gear. I have to reach back and give it a good hit to pop it out, but at least it shouldn't come out of gear while racing.... Good luck..
