we ran the first race of the season today and it was pushing like a tank. what can i try with wheel offsets to loosen the car up on entry? can ride height be an issue here? i start on the right front making the inner pivot even with or a half inch lower than the ball joint, then set the other 3 corners from there. we run a 77 camaro chassis with a 3 link and track bar. the track bar is mounted behind axle attatched to the frame on right. seems to work the right front so hard it just overheats and gives up bad after about 3 laps. the right front tire actually rolls right under. im so lost here ive tried everything.

I would move the the bar to the left also. Don't know your springs or shocks but to stiff a RF spring or shock can cause a push, drivin the car to hard in or a brake problem might cause it.

Go up in rear stagger until it's loose in and off. If you're way out of the ballpark on stagger for what the other cars at your track run, check your rear end alignment. You may also have some significant roll understeer there.

air pressure? tires? springs? camber settings? sway bar? scale #'s? rear bar angles?
you are pushing on entry? how is it on exit? is it pushing on entry? or through the center? is it on the brakes?

without knowing, you could try more right side air pressure, more rf camber. less rf spring rate/more rr spring rate/less crossweight (assuming the car is in the 50% rear weight range, if it is higher you may have to go the opposite direction to loosen entry).

go to the toolbox and look for panhard bar tech it will tell you how to set up your panhard bar. It need to be mounted on the left side not the right. Left side for dirt cars, right side for asphalt cars. Our mod is a 3 link and we are mounted on the left side.
