I am trying to fing a good base line to start at with springs. I have put a new car together this season and it should weight around 2800# and the motor is set back to where the water pump is even with the ball joint. I run on a semi banked 1/4 mile dry track. the car I had last year had a 600# rf spring but it did have 2 wedges in it that I had to take out to have it rated. Thats all the info I can come up with. Any info will be greatly apriciated.

Sorry Ringo. I am way heavier than that, and my engine set back is not that far, so I could only guess what spring rates to start with.

Anyone?

You might want to post this under the modified tech section. I ran an old flexi-flyer that was almost that heavy. I ran LF 700, RF 800, and 200 across the rear.
