we went to practice and the motor started popping and cutting out it felt like it was luging then it would clear out it only did this toward the end of the straight way it felt like if you didnt lay in it all at once it wasent as bad any help thanks

sounds to me like u r not getting enough fuel to motor

If it's not starving for fuel, You could be floating the valves or your ignition module is giving up the ghost. Unfortunately, your problem could be caused by a lot of things.

We are having a similar problem we have a flutter in the motor at dfferent rpms and if you easy on the throttle it seems to help took of the stock 454 fuel pump and installed a better pump should maintain better fuel pressure and runs a lot better 6.5 shut, off, gas ,holley 500, 6900 rpms ,82 jets,350 chevy

MINE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM.WOULD CUT OUT AT THE END OF THE STRAIT.IT WAS A BAD PIECE OF RUBBER FUEL LINE THAT WOULD COLAPSE AND CUT THE FUEL OFF

We had that problem too. The check ball in the tip over valve fell out and got stuck in the fuel pickup. The car would run great to the end of the straight away and then start sputtering and popping. Took us about 5 or 6 weeks and lot of parts swapping to find the problem. So to make a long story even longer, check your fuel pick up in the fuel cell for any blockages. Hope this helps I sure wish someone would have suggested that when it happened to us.

IT IS HARD TO TELL .SO MANY THINGS CAUSE THIS .HAPPEND TO ME LAST WEEK. TIMING FOR ME!CHECK YOUR VALVE LASH.THAT HAPPEND LAST YEAR .LOST CAM LOBE &SOLID LIFTER.
