My feeling is if you only run short races 50 laps or less, just run the 12 gal tank. No need to haul around extra weight.

does your track have a limit on size? if not i would go with the 22, helps with rear percentages and min weight, just my .02

no size limit and after 30 laps with few caution laps it is about drained and will run a few big races this year

i have an 8gal we normally run 15 lap main 5 lap heat 3 hot laps, plus cautions, start the night at full usually have 3 1/2 to 4 gal left at the end of a normal night. ran a 100 lapper with yellows counting, 50 lap gas break, started out chock full, not to many yellow laps and still had more than 1/3 tank left prob close to half, most likely coulda ran the whole 100 on 1 tank, did not try though,lol.331 cul sbc with a 500cfm 2bbl,3000lb car, big 3/8ths track
