all you have to do is outline the bracket on 1/2 steel and cut it out. or you could buy another bracket just like the one you have.

long pump is only 1/2 longer than the short. i made a spacer for a guy i race with last year and it is still working great

We used a set up from a early 80s p/u that had air conditioning. The power steering pump was mounted to the block. There is a bracket that attaches to the stock exhaust manifold that we shimmed out. Works great.

speedway makes a bracket part# 913-32902 for a short pump, we used it with a long pump and it worked fine. it mounts to the block. and for 25 bucks it's not worth getting out the torch.

a van pump also bolts to the block. mty pump i got off a 83 caprice with 305 have to put a coule shims here and there but never lost a belt
