One of my fellow workers runs a mod and uses mystic stuff. He likes it. My engine and partner in crime believes in Lucas, and since it's his dime (he buys the oil) I let him use what he wants. After tear down of the engine, tranny and rear this past fall, I am a believer in Lucas. Expensive, but I didn't see any sign of wear or damage anywhere. It sticks to everything.

If I were buying the lube, I would probably run Kendal 50 with Lucas stabilizer in the engines, and Lucas in everything else.

Redline lightweight synthetic in trans and rear mobil one synthetic in engine.never a problem and great wear protection. We even use synthetic wheel bearing grease and use synthetic to grease the chassis. Its a little more expensive but pays off in the long run with reliability.

I use John deere 85 140 and have for years used to use the 80 90 but the 85 140 dont tear up the gears as bad
As long as its the gl5 it dont matter what it is
