Hi, I am in the process of going from vacuum assist brakes to manual brakes and was wondering if I would need to change out the proportioning valve. I am going to be using a master cyclinder for front disc / rear drums manual brakes. Thankyou for your help! Kent

You would be better off to remove the proportioning valve completely then plumb your front brakes to the rear port on the MC and vice versa. This will help give your car more rear brake and less front.
