I prefer me in it. Some scaling can be done without, but for true numbers, at least add your weight in the drivers seat. Remember that your weight mass is NOT totally setting on the seat. Your weight goes up, down, forward, ect. For serious scaling boobs like me, this makes a difference (all about center of gravety and stuff like that).

Whenever you can, get in the car and scale away. Just an opinion and the way I do my car.

Race on.

Don't forget the weight of your helmet and safety gear. Weighs more than your street clothes.

Once I sat in the car and wrote al the wheel weights down, climbed out ot it and started adding ballast to achieve the exzct wheel weights as I had with me in the car. You won't believe how much your legs and feet weigh!

If you think about it, your scaling you car the way you want it on the track. When your car is on the track your in it. I would say in. Thats what we always do.
