I use a T-350
I got a 1/4" steel rod, weld a washer on the fwd. end attach to tranny with cotter key. Weld a bigger washer on the aft end, use a pin & clip to attach there, another pin & clip up higher on the pivot bracket as well. I got some Aluminum , 1/4" x 1-1/2" drilled a hole on the bottom end, then a pivot hole about 6" up. Put an "S" bend in the middle of it to clear my seat. Works great, weighs nothin'

when we ran an auto with a rod, just put a 90 degree bend in one end ,welded on a washer, drilled a hole ,put a cotter key on to hold it on the tranny end.punched a hole in the floor, shoved it up thru, bent a 90 on the end for a handle and let it ride !worked great.
