Our track this year has opened up its tire rule from a 8 in wheel and a dot tire to any 10 in steel wheel and any brand of racing tire under the sun that you can put on that wheel. this will end up costing me im sure but i know nothing about racing tires since all we ever ran was a dot . so i guess my question is if you could run any tire you wanted . which would it be track is 3/8 med bank usually dry slick come race time . only input is from a friend who ran a late model years ago and he said to find a hoosier tire that he called a zero tire but like i said , know nothing about racing tires.

do like we do run what the latemodels are running on your track plant them on 10 in wheels buy their pulloffs save a bunch of money we buy them anywhere from free to 50 bucks new are 150.00 we run american racers we have a d55 rule here so everybodys on the same compound we can run hoosiers or goodyear but they have to stick 60 after the race
