Anybody ever find anything that works real well for painting headers? I always try that high heat paint and grill paint and all that **** but evrything burns right off. thanks

What I have done in the past is bead blast them clean, hang them from a bolt hole, heat the inside of each tube & the collector til they are fairly warm with a torch, then paint them with the 1500 degree paint. Lasts most of the season!
I have a sponsor now who coats them inside & out! Maybe it will help you!

get jet-hot to coat them. costs about 250$ but guys around here have been getting 5-6 years on a set of headers where before they were replacing them every other year. i think jet-hot also has a 3 year warranty on the finish and 10 year on rust through.

I understand it makes them last a little longer. And look better. Fights rust ect...
