Does anyone mount front shocks on upper arms. If so Why?

Mine are.

1. They are virtually impossible to damage.
2. They are at the correct angles both ways to follow the arc of the a arm.
3. They are as close as possible to the ball joint.

A added bonus is they are really easy to change.

I make my mounts with half inch dom tube about a inch long then weld a half inch nut on the back side. you can weld this tube anywhere to be your mount then gusset it as needed.
