Dont see why not i use it for my seat mount and of course the cage for the fuel cell. Eddie

well thats what I was thinking.They changed our rules to allow us aftermarket petals and master cylinders.I dont have the cash but am a very good fabricator and figured I could loose some nose weight with out sacrificing safety.

We use a channel with holes drilled for mounting, then braced with 1" square tubing. The channel lets us adjust the location of the pedals if we need to.

I ran some quick and dirty numbers. With a 6:1 pedal ratio and a 1" bore master making 1600psi you could make the pedal out of 1/8" wall 1 inch tubing and still have a safety margin. Heres a little eye opener though. With 200 ponuds of force on the pedal, there is 1200 pounds of force pushing on the master cylinder rod!! Be sure the MC rod connection is well built!
