rules at my track have always required a hydraulic cam single valve spring with stock diameter. next year solid lift cams with double valvesprings will be allowed if you add 50 lbs. rack and pinion will cost you 50 also. is the performance and horsepower gains of either, worth the added weight?

thanks bigdaddyboyz. this is the first racing motor i am building, and i was a little concerned about valve float with stock springs and a hydraulic cam, although i know it can be done.
