Have any of you ever mounted a front "bearing end" shock inside the spring, where it would be in the "stock" location? I've been trying to decide the best way to do this for some time now and really would appreciate some ideas. Thanks!

If at ride ht you can get 10- 11 inches from top to the bottom mount it shouldnt be hard.

Just make yourself a top mount with two plates to put a bolt thru, like a regular double sheer mount. And put a half inch hardened bolt in the bottom mount on the shock ground flat on both ends and drilled for bolts to go thru it like the stock T bar did..
They also sell stock mount ends to go on pro afco shocks that have $crew on ends.

I wouldn't waste time trying to get a shock designed to be mounted out next to the ball joint into the center of the spring. The valving will be way off. The stock mount shocks are designed with the right valving and mounts already.

Good luck,
