whats the most cfm a guy can get out of a 4412...i see some of them on ebay with about 535..seems like you could get more...any ideas?...any phone #s...thanks in advance

a buddy of mine bought one of those larger smi's and it only flowed 550 and was good for only 6hp on the dyno.
them we put my 890 c&s (which flows 670) and we picked up 35hp an 40ft/lbs of torque.
the c&s is the biggest that i know of.

FWIW, none of those modified carbs pass any tech inspection but if you're talking about that kind of carb, we sell one that flows 705cfm, which was verified on 2 different benches as well as AED's wet bench.
This kind of carb was used this year in Carthage, TN to beat aluminum head 4bbl roller motors using a flat top Vortec head 358 with a Victor 2V....but I digress....
Everyone must remember that it's not about the max cfm they flow, but rather how fast they get there.
Acceleration wins races, not raw cfm flow numbers.

i forgot to say that all my flow numbers were @ 28" of water and were done on the same day and on the same flow bench.
