This year I will be running with Radial tires on a 1/2 mile asphalt track and have few questions. How do you get stagger if the tire size has to be the same on all 4 corners. Also what differential would you run..open, locked, posi... any help would be appreciated.

you can have the tires shaved down. Or just take a tape with you the same size doesn't mean that it will have the exact same roll out. Try used tires or different brands of tires. I like getting the ones with the warranty and every 5 races have them rebalanced. lol

Buy new tires and take the rears to a recapper. Have him shave off the tread in an "all to none" pattern across the tire. It's like running a cambered rear end. Been there done that! Trust me it works! BUT....keepa yo trap shut!

if all the tires have to be the same size dont run a locked rear because you will need stagger to get the rear of the car around the radius of the turn. I've run posi units for the past 10 yrs. with no problem.Stagger isn't as critical with a posi unit so 1/4" changes in stagger arent noticeable.I also went from 3" of stagger with the locked rear to 1" with the posi. Also to fine tune the car with a posi use the front sway bar to tighten or loosen the car as stagger changes arent as noticeable.
