I am building a ford super street, i am using a 1985 ford crown vic for the front stub. Do you ford guys use the stock spindles? I noticed that the spindle center is about 2" lower then the camero, is this a problem?

I haven't used a crown vic front end but the next car I build will have one for sure. I talked to an IMCA chassis builder and he says use all of the crown vic stuff (Lower a-arms and spindles) except they cut off the upper a-arms and mounts and put on tubulars. They optimize the geometry using the uppers only. The spindles and lower a-arms are good already. Better than the traditional camaro, were you need impala spindles etc.

Depending on what you need the Grenadas have a little different spindle height also. I believe they are about an inch lower than the crown vic.
