i've heard that you cant run 400 blocks anymore after 1-1-06. whats everyone think of this? can we still run 400 cranks to make a 383? that kinda bums me out since i just stocked up on my 400 stuff. i hope the outlaw tracks dont follow through with the same type of rules!

Just another dumb move by IMCA. So now we buy a 4.00 stroke crank, stuff it in a 350 block and have 414 CI. Now what did that solve?

IMO, they can't/don't enforce the rules they have now. Why make more???

Tracy,
I'm glad its Lawty's last year out here in Marshalltown!! I'd love to run out here but all the stupid rules they have outweigh the good ones in each class. You've got to get to Webster This year!!! No stupid rules just good racing. The no 400 Block deal is really a load of cr@p in my opinion. Just wait, next year you can't use pistons!!! Think of how many 377's, 406's that have had a ton of money spent on them to run well with the stupid IMCA carb now they can't even be used

Brett, really I'm fine with a no-400-block rule. My problem is that, except for specials, it won't be enforced!

I dunno, between Osky, Webster, Allison(maybe), Britt and some non-sanctioned specials, maybe I'm done with IMCA....

How much tech is done out here at Marshalltown? Ray Hill won the a lot of races the first year the 350 rule came out with a 500 holley...
