Do any of you guys take these out or leave them in? If you take them out what can you use to replace them with. Eddie

I used alum. what I used for support was a couple pieces of 3/4 x 3/4 square tubing welded into a T and welded to the main hoop and the pinchweld area of the roof. My sunvisor covers it right up.

CUT MINE OUT AND REPLACED WITH A BENT PEACE OF SHEET METAL. MY ROOF AND FENDERS ARE SUPORTED BY THE CAGE SO THE SUPPORT IS JUST FOR LOOKS.

Yep the cage supports the roof and window post so we used 2.5 inch wide sheet metal and pop rivited it on.
