Hello all,

Just thought I would let everyone know that I will be asking a lot of questions because I just bought my first car. It is a 73 mach 1 mustang, multi leaf car. Don't have a motor and tranny yet, and am looking for any good suggestions. I will be racing on a small slightly banked quarter mile. I am sure I will have several questions as they come up so any input before hand would be great. The car will be run in a factory stock class, so basically every thing is to remain stock. I went ahead and bought the 6.50 gear that was in the car through suggestion of other racers at the track I will be running. Thanks all for any info you are will to give

Ford is expensive to build motor wise from what I understand. Buy lots of extra rims and tires. We went through 9 tires, 8 rims and 2 beadlocks this year.

Cut up any credit cards you may have before you EVEN THINK about using them for the car! I know from personnal experience. Good luck with your racin' efforts, it can be a blast!!! Just make sure you have fun doing it, or it ain't worth it.
