Well blew my t350 tranny after having a bad leak at the tail shaft housing and lost drive with low fluid. I got a rebuild kit and found that first was gone and the bushing in the tail housing was shot, the yoke was also grooved from rubbing. Well put her back together and replaced the yoke. Put her back in and she ran fine for like a week but started losing fluid again donít know where I canít find the leak. But now after about five minutes of driving she starts to slip out of third gear into second. It shiftís back and forth sort of like passing gear is going on and off.

I did not replace the torque converter or the valve body. I just re-installed the valve body with a new gasket. Has anyone had the same problem? By the way this is my first rebuild so it is possible that could be it too! Well if anyone has some answers for me it would be great. Because Iím about to go a buy another rebuilt tranny and do swap soon if I canít fix the problem.

Sounds like a case or tailshaft housing problem.

Well I thought it could be the case because it still had movement in rear shaft with out the tail housing on. I was hoping I would not have to fork out another 500 bucks but I guess I canít have my ways all the time. Thanks guys!!!
