I'm going to give Street Stock a whirl this season. It's my first attempt to race a car in anything but a straight line.

I'm going to be building a Lincoln Mark VII LSC up for it. Primarily because it fits to the track rules well, we have about 20 of them sitting at Lincoln Motorsports, and they use Mustang parts for a drivetrain.

I like being different. I've never seen anybody else using one for anything like this, so I got curious.

I've got to gut it, cage it, remove the air ride to convert it to coil springs, and convert it to a carb. Then I'll make make my final transmission choice and do the rear up.

Just curious if anyone else has ever done one up?

Never seen one myself.....but kudos to you for being different. I hate seeing the same old stuff all the time.

There's a kid that races a Pro Am the has a Lincoln body on a LTD frame. It's a pretty good looking car. I'll see if I can find a pic.
