Anyone running these American Racer G60 non-stamped IMCA tires on their Hobby Stock? Our track is going to make this a spec tire. Are they good? what pressures do you run?

There are no non-stamped IMCA tires. The tires they are probably talking about is the old IMCA molds with the hard edge on the tread. The track down the road used them one season and went back to the IMCA tire. The edge tears off and chunks of the tread were coming off. On a Hobby with no beadlock you may not have a problem. The mods and street stocks were tearing them up.

Good luck,

were you on ashphalt or dirt when they were being torn? They do have a hard edge and they are an inch narrower than the mod tire.

blind barney ,we run these tires uor car has to be 3300 min. very fast 1/2 mile ( lake side speedway kck ) good start (rf. 18 to 22)
(rr 17 to 20 ) (lr 12 to 15) ( lf 10 to 15)
we cannot run a bead lock if the track is real heavy i will run 20 in right side to keep from knocking a tire down

the tires dont wear well at all for as much as you pay for them. they like to feather up real easily. keep swapping them around after a fews nights though and you can probably 10 nights on a rr in a hobby depending on the track conditions. if your track will let you groove them then that helps alot. i doubled the nights i could run on my rr by grooving.
