This past year our spec tire was a large American Racer tire (SW something or other) and they are a very tall tire and now they are talking of switching to the G60's. Therefore, 410 might not be the ideal gear. Thanks for the reply.

Whats roll? Circumferance? not sure i spelled that correctly. These tires we used this past season were 89" round. They want to switch to the G60 which I think is much smaller.

I was running the stock gear. It is an 81 Grand Prix (Ghia model I think). the gears are 280 somethings I think. The engine was only getting barely over 4000 rpm's tops and I would like 5500. I was going to go to a 410 gear but a 380 something might be better. I don't know, I'm looking for any advice you may have.
