Would a front stub out of a 1972 ford LTD work good for a tubbed chassis car? If not what year stub would be the best to use?

Try an 82 up Crown Vic farme. The stub comes back straight like a Camaro and has the turn outs welded on. Easy enough to trim the part that turns out off ans still have boxed rails to attach to your tube frame. Nice and wide too.
