In memory of Lemmiwinks, 2003-2004

She was a great car!

Unfortunately they allow blind people to race up here in NY, oh wait, blind and stupid, and it cost me my little girl!

we wondered where you were for the vic. i started 7th in my heat and finished 2nd. 62 cars showed 31 made the cut i finished 26th after falling out with handling problems and a small electrical fire. was running in the top ten holding my own on the outside where there was absolutly no bite for about 6 laps till the handling just went away. turns out the 1" bar that holds my weight in broke and 150lbs of left side ballest jumped ship.oops.oh well we were just happy to make the show.

Yea, another season, another Vic missed. I wasn't happy about it. That moron Mannisse blasted me after I spun out. I was in 2 and he was in the middle of 1 and 2 when I did it... atleast 14 cars went by me without touching me. He never even lifted.

This of course was after he dumped me on the 1st lap in front of the entire field. Atleast i pulled off the 360 and kept going that time.

****py thing about was he came over and looked at the car and just laughed about it. Needless to say he's gonna have it rough next year when were both at the same track

You got that right Flyinlo......at that point either he or I would have taken home an a$$whippin!
Best place to fight on a racetrack is on the front stretch....the promoters have to act like they don't like it, but we all know differently.

i've raced dave for a few years on and off we are good friends off the track and he has always been willing to help us out BUT on track i would not call him dirty but he is intense he has been driving pure stock/street stocks since 1987 has won just about everything up here at one point in time and always gives it 120 percent, i have been on the recieving end of his driving before so i know how it is.

Rob is right. Problem was he was racing for a tour championship and had a shot at it. He caused 5 Yellows that I know of that day.

I never had a problem with him before this and if it weren't for the fact he pulled the **** he did afterwards, I probably still wouldn't. But to look at my car and laugh after he destroyed it? That's not right.

I wanted to take a shot at him but it wasn't the time or place. I have a good memory. And when I build my new car this winter, it will be on my mind the entire time!

thats the spirit. i heard you were going lef next year.if you change your mind and decide to come back from the darkside and stick with a coil car let me know. we'll be at fulton this week and weedsport the following week, stop down and take a looki at my car, the frame and cage were based on shawn lias's imca mod. i'm updating mine over the winter but i can show you how we did what we did and what we are going to do. i could not belive the diff when i brought this car out the first time. very stiff very consistent very light and very strong.little adjustments are all that are needed. when i rolled down the front straight last year i ripped the rear completely out and most of the right front and in the end the frame measurments came out dead on perfect, i went over 3 times in the air and put it back down on the frame, 21j and 72 passed underneath me when i went up.

Yep, Unfortunately it seems like Leaf is the way to go around here. I love my coil car. Heck, I just put a different setup on it a couple weeks ago and the thing was better than any car I've driven in 3 years. If I hadn't gotten boned in the final points show at canandaigua I could have won that race!

I'm debating on what I want to do. I just spent some quality time with the car and cut out all the bent stuff... I can save it, everything measured out ok. I've had a couple offers on it as she sits so I'm not sure yet... I know I can get it done in a coil car, I am just sick of being the only one in a swarm of Leafs!

Depending on your rules, you can beat em' with a coil car. Just got to get creative most especially if your required to run stock suspension in stock location. Location is the key word here. I'm building a small monte carlo for my dads' wifes' son to race, the rules are stock in stock location. I'm gonna get creative with the stock trailing arms and see how she does. Our track is dominated by Camaros. I'm also building a Camaro for my sister to drive. The Camaro will be easy!!!
