what am i looking for for right front camber settings. if you have too much negative rf camber will it cause a push? i'm trying a few degrees less this week i think i am running too much and not allowing the tire to make a complete patch. does this make sense? it seems to me if you have to much neg camber and the tire is riding on the inside half of the tire when it rolls over in the corner you are still not going to have a full patch making contact causing a push. right.

Makes sense to me. We run 2.5 degrees though and don't have a push problem. Measure tire temp all the way across the tread when you come off the track- it should be the same. If it's hotter on the inside edge, you have too much neg. camber.

How much camber you need depends on alot of things. there is no standard setting. with the short metric spindles and alot of body roll you might need alot. if its a high banked track then you might need less. on my metric i have the chevelle spindles and run 3.75 degrees negative on the right and 3 positive on the left. This is on a top five car on a short 3/8 med banked track. the front end is pretty much glued. nowif i could only get the rear end that way.

thanx, i had alot more camber than that it was noticably more so than the other cars. i don't have alot of body roll and the banks are fairly steep we are a top 5 car now and the faster guys get me through the corners. i have to run on the dead bottom and if i can't get there right away we have trouble. gonna try 2.5 and work from there. points are over so it's time to try something diff.

thanx, the car was awsome last night, drew a bad # and had to start at the back of the heat, got held up by slower cars and had to run the conci. got held up again but qualifyed, started 22nd in the feature out of 24. was up to 9th by the 8th lap when i got hit in the rf and bent a brand new speedway control arm ended up pulling off, but the camber change made a huge diff, i could run high low middle wherever i wanted, i was turning prob 500 or so more rpms than normal cause i was coming out of the corners so much better. thanx again got three more shows left
