am thinking about moving up from hobby stock to pro street stock at my local track. am looking into a camaro clip car with a fab rear section leaf suspension.i ran a coil metric this year and won the track championshipwith it. but i have no experience with a leaf car at all.i believe minimum weight is 3200lbs. what i need is to know what most people prefer as far as spring rates frt and rear and sway bar in front or not and how big if so?also caster and camber specs for front. and if anyone has prefernce of clamping leafs front and rear or just in front so rear moves free more like they use in imca mods.also have seen some cars at track wrap leafs with duct-tape??? any reason for that? okay ill stop asking questions and start listening to all the advice everyone has to offer and if anyone needs help on a metric maybe i can return the favor

The duct tape is to keep the dirt out of between the springs.....Thats all I know.
Depending on what your allowed to do with the leaf spring mounts, legnths and rates, they surely can be bad a$$!!!!....

Everyone out here are going to the metric with the coils I decided to stay with the leafs on the new car, I think the leafs are easier to set up and you get more forward bite out of them. Eddie

we are allowed jacking bolts and ajustable rear spring hangers doesnt sy anything else but it does say at beginning of rule book that all rules not covered by following must be checked and approved by office before proceeding.
