Anyone have experience with running a mid 80's camaro in the street stock class? I'd like some thoughts on the pros & cons of this body style. Also, besides the price are there any problems with the car being equipped with front struts instead of regular shocks? I can probably get this car for very little money, possibly free (yeah the price is right) but would it be worth it in the end? Class rules are pretty restricted-if it helps check the rules for Pure Stock at: www.geocities.com/queen_city_speedway/ This site is usually full of good advice and any help is appreciated.

Put an 80 or earlier frame section under the car and get rid of the struts, ive seen this done and those cars are wicked fast. Eddie
