ok guys honestly how much does your car weigh???? I am reading about all these 3200 and 3500 lb cars, our car weighs less than 3000 lbs with 1/2 a tank of fuel, don't you think horsepower to weight ratios are beneficial?

we run a 75 camaro with 51% rear.

Every track I have been to the car had to be weighed either before the race or directly after,so you must weigh what the rules require.Always weigh a little more just to be sure you are legal.

There are cars that I've seen run in Kansas that weigh 2500-2600#. Full bodied metrics. Don't know how the did it, but they better not spin in front of my 3400# car! I would exterminate their terminator chassis!

i know of 2400 lb metric cars.
to do it you must start with a frame and cage then hang the body. you have to cut off ounces not pounds to get to the weight. if you cut 1/4 lb 100 times its 25 lb.

Our Camaro Super street weighs 3200 lbs on the scales at the shop. This is with 16 gal. of fuel, 250 lbs. of lead, and my 180 lb. *** in it. The car has over 55% rear. We could probably shave 100-200 lbs. off of it, too.

race ready i was about 2800lbs with lead and me in it. i ran a race with a 3000lbs rule and had to run 300lbs of lead to get there. but on the plus side...i had 56% rear
