Seems every promoter in Alabama wanted a weekend off. Everyone of them seems to have shot themselves in the foot and prematurely called a rain day and we had a great nite for racing almost over the whole state. I don't know about you guys but I am completely lost on a sat nite if theres no racing

Light it up, Baby!

try having a rain night and getting cancelled and then finding out that there will be no rain date to make up the race because they are cutting the season short

no luck up north either

drive hard or drive home
and get er done

I know at East Alabama Motorspeedway, in Phenix City, AL, that is the 3rd time this season they have called the race to soon. Then they want to make it all better with a practice session on Tuesday Night. I live in Atlanta, GA over two hours away from the track. Guess I won't be making that session. Last time they did this the promotor got mad because nobody showed up for the practice and he made every class race with no practice and no heats. We just drew for our spot in the feature. Seems like a waste of money to go all the way down there and then pay $25 to go to the track and only run a feature. Just my toughts!!!

Most of us live for the weekend and then they cut us short like that???????/ Go figure we are the ones that make it all happen, there is a lot at stake but come on mother nature is hard to predict and lot of tracks I have been at wait until there is no cure. Seems to happen more later in the season then early but that is just my 2 cents worth.

We had 8 weeks of cons rain outs here in Florida, 10 of the last 14 weeks were rain outs until this weekend. Went from 19th starting position to 5 but ended up 9th. We ran 25 laps, it took 27 minutes and we had so many caution laps we used 24 gallons of alcky. I lost so much rear weight the car got super loose at the end of the race.
