i bought a imca stock car, how much difference is there in setting this thing up? what percentage's to shoot for? what springs? it has afco shocks on it already, i havent looked for the part numbers yet. i will be running boone and marshalltown iowa. i assume a 6.20 gear will be fine. any info on these type of cars would be beneficial. you all helped me on my hobby lets get this stocker flyin. im not racing it till next season. thanks ted #11

some difference in setup - you'll want more rear wt%, and probably 0.5% more cross wt%. we've made the transition before. you'll be able to fine tune it much more with the weight jacks and ballast than you were a hobby stock.

not sure about boone specifically, but the 3/8 mile that i'm at the stock cars run 5.83's or 6.00's, so 6.20 might be a bit high unless you want to scream it
